Keep in mind that since FogBugz sends out automatic notification of a change to a case that is assigned to you, if you set up an "out of office" automatic reply in your own email client, you will create an infinite loop:
- For any new case assigned to you while you are out of the office, FogBugz will send you an email notifying you of that case.
- Your email client will reply to that email, saying you are out of the office. This reply will be appended to the case in FogBugz.
- Thus FogBugz will send you a notification that a case that is assigned to you has changed.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 ad infinitum.
Solution:
Before you turn on the auto-reply feature in your email client, log in to FogBugz as an admin and turn off Email Notification for your FogBugz user account until your return.
