What's an Administrator?
Any FogBugz user can be made into an administrator. You can have as many administrators as you want.
Administrators have the ability to:
- Configure and add users, and change their passwords
- Set up projects, areas, shared filters, clients, and departments
- Configure all aspects of the FogBugz installation
- Install new licenses purchased from Fog Creek
Also, all administrators receive a copy of the email that is sent when users choose Email Your FogBugz Administrators option on the Help menu.
No matter how many FogBugz licenses you have, FogBugz will always let you create one extra user that can be used as an administrator's account. For example, if you purchase licenses for 10 users, you can actually create 11 users. This free admin account is built in; it cannot be deleted, but it can be renamed and transferred to another person.
